It’s not just about you…

Advisr has been built to help people, who might otherwise struggle.

Of course, our focus is on helping people make food choices that are right for them, for their needs, for their circumstances.

We are very aware that having a health restriction or problem can be a lonely place. Which is why we decided to develop this Communities platform.

The idea is simple: when users find food that is good for their condition – whether shopping or eating out – they are able to instantly share that discovery with others who might have a similar condition. And of course, as a business, you can benefit from these discoveries.

We’re trying to bring together lots of sources of great information for all our communities into one place, so that if a user wants to know what’s happening about food in their community, the FoodAdvisr community is the place to go.

It’s what community is all about; sharing and looking after each other.

This figure shocked us; 10 million. That’s the number of arthritis sufferers in the UK. 10 million! It’s known that diet can really affect the symptoms and prognosis. The vast majority of sufferers are older adults. Being part of a community and looking after each other is something that many of us get better at as we get older, so download FoodAdvisr, use it in shops and Eateries, and share stuff that you find is good for your condition. Please.

Ok – so we suspect that you already chat and share anyway. But why not let others know about what you’re finding out about your food through using FoodAdvisr. You may open doors for others in what they can eat – and indeed shouldn’t! – and where is welcoming and catering for the more mature and educated pallet.

Too many tantrums! Not enough sleep! Hyperactive and never getting a minute’s rest. Oh – and fussy about food!! It’s well documented that diet has a massive effect on the well-being and behaviour of kids. Certain ingredients really should be avoided. Others really should be included. You’d do anything for your kids, so why not take the time to check out more detail – really quickly – on the food they’re eating. Oh – and share it with other parents who are probably just as frazzled and at the end of their tether as you!
